I really need to figure out ways to be a stay at home mom!! My life is crazy since I have started back working and I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. On this blog post I’m going to start from the ending and work my way to the beginning.

I should have known that leaving the baby during the day while dad is watching him would be a bad idea when my son was a few hours old. My boyfriend lovingly brought a birthday cake to celebrate our sons life and decided to put a little icing on his lips because and I quote “It’s his cake he should enjoy it to.” Trust me I wished the shenanigans ended there but there’s more while eating take-out he would take a French fry and dangle it in our sons face as if he wanted to lick the seasoning off.

GOD HELP US ALL!!!

I swear he only does these things to see my reaction. I love the fact that he is able to stay at home during the day with our son so I can’t complain too much but I know I’m not alone when I say that fathers can sometimes lack common sense.

My first week going back to work was a blur to me. Between correcting bad behavior, pumping, and teaching I didn’t have time to sit and think about how much I missed my baby. Coincidentally our lessons were about the cycle of life and were discussing frogs a student asked me “how do their eggs come out?” I paused trying to think of a way to explain this when another one of my students said “out their stomach duah!”

I simply responded “yeah their stomach.” What type of teacher would I be if I were to rob their parents the joy of explain how do animals have their babies.

Todays links have made my life easier at the moment! When there is absolutely no time to go to the store to get what you need, why not have them delivered right to your door!! These are staples for me.
